North Hunt Special Utility District offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Online Bill Pay:
In our efforts to better serve you, we now accept all major credit and debit cards, except American Express. Payments can be made using a credit or debit card online or over the phone, for a 3% fee. To pay your bill online, you will need to know your account number and the current amount due. To pay your bill now, click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button, located to the right or at the bottom of this page. To pay your bill over the phone, please call our toll free number at (903) 568-3900.
Security & Privacy: We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet. We will not sell your information to anyone.
Refunds: All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of the transaction.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. There is a $35 service fee charged on all returned checks, as well as the current fee for registered postage to notify you. To avoid late fees, the post mark date must be the 15th of the month or before. We ask that you please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the ACH Recurring Debit Form located at the bottom of the page. Please print, complete and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check. You will still receive a monthly bill but if you have a question about your bill, we ask you contact the office no later than the 10th of the month. Drafts are only processed one time per month.
You may pay your account in person, or by using the drop box provided at our office address. We accept cash, check, credit or debit cards, and money orders. There is a $35 service fee charged for all returned checks, as well as the current fee for registered postage. NOTE: A post-dated check is NOT an acceptable form of payment.
To avoid longer wait times in the office, please note: Mondays, Fridays, the 15th of the month, and the first business day after a holiday are extremely busy. Please also note: To avoid late fees, please drop off payments in the drop box provided BEFORE 4:30pm on the due date. Payments left AFTER 4:30pm on the due date will be considered late and the late fee will be applied to your account.
CASH PAYMENTS MUST BE FOR THE EXACT AMOUNT, otherwise we will NOT make change but will gladly credit your account for any change owed you. COINS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED TO PAY DOLLAR AMOUNTS AND PENNIES WILL NEVER BE AN ACCEPTABLE FORM OF PAYMENT.
Payment Through Your Financial Institution for Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven (7) business days before your bank processes the payment and they are mailed to our office to post to the customer's account. Paying through your financial insitituion online may result in a late fee if it is received after the 15th. Please consult with your bank for more information.
Payment by Credit or Debit Card
We currently accept Master Card and Visa, either in person or over the telephone. We do not accept Discover or American Express.
We do not keep this information on file, and you must provide the necessary information with each payment.
